Day-After Session in Soho

It was an absolute joy to be a part of Chahat and Rajit’s day-after session in Soho! They live in New York, and most of their love story happened during their time here. But because they knew they would have their real wedding at home in India, surrounded by their friends and family, they planned to have a day-after session in New York!

Chahat knew exactly what style and energy she wanted from her photos, and I knew the only place that could match her vision was Soho! SoHo’s iconic cobblestone streets, brick buildings, and vibrant murals provide a visually stimulating backdrop that enhances the mood of portraits. The neighborhood’s rich history as a hub for artists and creatives adds an unmistakable aura of creativity and inspiration to every frame captured here.

Moreover, SoHo’s dynamic atmosphere ensures that each photo is imbued with a sense of energy and excitement. From bustling cafes and boutique shops to hidden alleys and quiet corners, there’s always something unique for photos. The interplay of natural light filtering through the narrow streets and the reflective surfaces of glass storefronts adds depth and dimension to portraits, creating a visually compelling narrative. When we added in a little rain to the session, the reflections off the cobblestones managed to elevate the atmosphere even more.
