Mother-Daughter Portraits

When Julie and Rebecca contacted me for their Mother-Daughter portrait session during their trip to New York, I was so excited to tell them I was available during their visit! These two have the sweetest friendship. I love capturing family portraits for families who so obviously love each other, but these two are absolutely best friends.

We shot for a little bit along Central Park West to capture the energy of the city and its magnificent architecture. Then we headed into Central Park for the serenity that comes with being in nature. From Bow Bridge to Bethesda Terrace to The Mall, we made a little tour around some of Central Park’s most iconic locations, all while photographing the joy and love of Julie and Rebecca’s sweet relationship.

It’s always a good idea to capture moments like these during your travels–if you don’t get professional photos taken while you’re jet setting, you’ll end up with a phone full of selfies and solo photos, and nothing at all that commemorates your trip in a more comprehensive way!
